Privacy notice

What we collect. Your email address, the property you checked, and whether you asked to receive updates. If you book a service, we also collect your name, phone number, the property, who lives there and any access notes. Stripe processes payments, and we receive your name, email and payment status. We never see your card details.

Why. To show you your results, run your account and alerts, and arrange and deliver services you book. For on-site visits, we share the booking details with the assessor who carries out the visit. We only send tips and offers if you opted in.

If we contacted you about a property. We found the property on the public EPC register and may have written to you as its likely landlord. You can opt out in one click, and we'll add it to our do-not-contact list.

EPC data. Property ratings come from the public Energy Performance of Buildings Register, published by MHCLG under the Open Government Licence.

Visitor statistics. We count page visits with Plausible Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't collect personal data.

Your rights. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, or unsubscribe at any time. Contact: privacy@epc-shield.co.uk.
