Questions
- Do you cover my area?
- We confirm cover for your postcode within 1 working day of booking. If we can't cover it, you get a full refund.
- Could a grant pay for the assessment?
- Possibly. If your property and tenants qualify for Warm Homes: Local Grant, the assessment is part of the funded project. Check first with our grant checker.
- What's the difference between an EPC and a retrofit assessment?
- An EPC gives you an official rating. A retrofit assessment goes further: it surveys condition and how the home is used, then produces a documented plan of which improvements to make, in what order, and roughly what they'll cost.
- Does the cost count towards the £10,000 cap?
- Under the 2030 rules, the cost of the EPCs before and after improvements counts towards the cap. Keep your receipts.
