How it works

From postcode to a clear answer

Find your certificate

We pull the current rating, property type and heating straight from the official EPC register.

See where you stand

Compare the rating with other homes on the street and across the council area.

Check the hidden risk

Find out whether the rating survives the switch to the new metrics, and what to do if it doesn't.

The new rules

From 2030, a rented home must pass two tests, not one

The single A–G rating is being replaced by four metrics. Energy Cost will appear on the certificate but won't count towards compliance.
